Search Process

At Practeam, a typical search process involves:

  • Drawing the Search Plan
  • Analyzing Client Requirements
We analyze our client's needs to determine the required set of skills, understand organizational relationships, define the required experience, and soft skills necessary for the successful candidate.

    Preparing Position Specifications
After carefully assessing client needs, the consultants prepare a written position specification that outlines - the incumbent profile- age, qualification & nature of experience; the Job Description - the roles and responsibilities, location in the organization hierarchy and key selection parameters. This specification guides our search efforts.

  • Executing the Search
  • Searching the Talent Database
The specification is promptly shared with Practeam's research team with relevant industry and functional expertise to pinpoint sources and prospects. Simultaneously, our research team accesses our computer databases of individuals, corporations, and other sources.

    Identifying Ideal Candidates
Professional staff members make selective calls to sources and prospects to identify and interest qualified individuals with or without discussing the actual opportunity. During this period, the consultant reports progress frequently to the client.

    Evaluating Candidates
Likely prospects are met by the consultant who evaluates each on the basis of experience and potential cultural fit with the client organization.

    Presenting Candidates
Reports are typically submitted on four or five individuals who most closely fit the position specification.

    Scheduling Candidate/Client Interviews
The consultant schedules a mutually convenient meeting between the client and each candidate, makes travel arrangements, and handles reimbursement of travel expenses. After each interview, the consultant contacts both the client and the candidates for feedback.

  • Closing the Search
  • Performing Reference Checks of Successful Candidate
Once the client selects the final candidate, the consultant interact with client designated 3rd parties responsible for candidate's pre-employment verification.

    Structuring Compensation Package
As the search process comes to a close, we can assist in structuring of the compensation package.
